Join us for drinks\, cake and an exploration of what it means to live in the light of our mortality. \nYes\, the topic of death can feel heavy\, even a little taboo. But opening up and talking about the things that scare us can often bring us peace and direction in ways we may never have expected. Many find that talking about death eases the fear and mystery of it. \nDeath Cafes happen in towns and cities around the world\, creating space for genuine\, unhurried discussion about our mortality…a topic that touches all our lives\, yet rarely finds its way into everyday conversation. \nThis isn’t a grief support group or educational seminar. Instead\, we offer a comfortable space where people from all walks of life can share their thoughts about death and dying\, ask questions\, gain new perspectives and reflect on what makes life meaningful. \nHow it works: Conversation prompts will be available\, but there will be no formal direction. Discussions take place with strangers in small groups over a drink and cake…it’s very relaxed and you can add to the conversation or just listen. \nBe brave and join us! Come to one\, or all three sessions. The venue is accessible\, all welcome.
